The festival’s opening concert is a showcase of some of the acclaimed London-based label Erased Tapes most distinctive artists - Rival Consoles, Hatis Noit, Penguin Cafe and Douglas Dare - in a unique 'in the round' performance.

Each artist will play reworks of their songs with musicians from international broadcast orchestra the BBC Philharmonic, conducted by Ellie Slorach. The concert is hosted by presenter Elizabeth Alker and will be recorded for BBC Radio 3’s Unclassified.
