Raucous, queer and unapologetic; Saturday is as Fat Out as you can get, with a full 9-hour takeover of Islington Mill.

 

The Mill Club plays host to the provocative trailblazing East-London artist Nuha Ruby Ra, Kongolese live techno band Electroni Kongo, the thundering sounds of Japan’s QUJAKU and Manchester's own hybrid rock-rap band Third Kulture. Next door in Mirage Bar you’ll find queer energy of all kinds; Instrumental explorer Luce Mawdsley crafts experimental sounds with serene folk traditions, Pink Pound brings a hi-NRG synthpop drag disco, and brand new duo Border Widow - Chardine Taylor-Stone (Big Joanie) and Hatty Carmen (Thigh High, BOYZ, Princess Republic) - keep things sleazy with ‘bar music for femmes who love the dark side.’

 

Elsewhere in the Mill, you can find Manchester synth queen Sarah Bates on the courtyard balcony, while Nat Sharp AKA Lone Taxidermist invites you to the fifth floor to join her in bed…

 

From 11pm, the after party takes us into the witching hours with dark drag and debauchery with a live performance from Brazilian music producer and artist LYZZA and a takeover of Mirage bar from queer electronica night FLUFF.
