FaT OuT is very honoured to be the Salford partner of Daphne Oram’s centenary tour. Throughout late 2025 the Oram Awards is touring the UK, with a series of shows that showcase female and gender-expansive sound artists and musicians.

We have collaborated with the Oram Awards to curate a live programme and workshop that celebrates past Oram Awards winners based across the north. All artists will be performing through Echo Chamber's 7.1.4 (Dolby Atmos) spatial audio system.

We will also have BEAT BLOCKS multi-sensory interactive flooring system at this show. BEAT BLOCKS  translates any sound source into felt vibration, creating a powerful, fully immersive sensory experience. For FaT OuT, this partnership is all about pushing the boundaries of live music and enhancing accessibility.

BEAT BLOCKS. haptic system offers a unique tactile experience for everyone, and particularly expands sensory access for deaf and hard-of-hearing people; an avenue through which to experience and participate in live events.

Performing live is trailblazing musical polymath & turntablist NikNak, who will premier a brand new commission, creating a live show using the new Damphe Oram sample pack; award-winning vocalist, sound and performance artist Lou Barnell and conceptual sound and performance artist Lola de la Mata.
